Costa Rica has long been know for its sailfish and blue marlin fisheries. The entire pacific coast there is home to some of the best billftshing waters anywhere on the planet.The longer I spent time in Costa Rica the more I saw the need for high quality sailfish and marlin flies that were designed to get the job done in the local waters. Most of them follow the classic Sigler style design but with some modern materials and a few twists.
