CARSON - A Fly Fishing Story
When my good friend Carson Keller came to me with this idea for a short film I knew I was going to commit to making sure it was the first thing I filmed during my guide season in Montana.
Creating a storyline that combines knowledge about what trout eat, fly tying and fly fishing in the same afternoon meant we had our work cut out for us if we were going to be able to capture all that in one run. As it turns out, it all fell into place and we were able to film this entire project in about 3 hours...editing it on the other hand...that took a bit longer. lol.
Hard to believe that with all the fly fishing films out there that there isn't more videos with this storyline.
1. Go out and find what fish want to eat.
2. Go tie flies to match that food source.
3. Go catch fish.
